Signia Pure Charge&Go IX and ReSound Nexia are both current-generation RIC rechargeables, and the cheapest pair is almost the same price (₹1,44,990 Signia, ₹1,48,995 Nexia at MRP). Signia IX has five technology levels and a universal-Bluetooth BCT version; Nexia is LE Audio and Auracast-ready and comes in the smallest ReSound receiver-in-ear case. Pick Signia IX for the longest battery and single-ear flexibility; pick Nexia for custom styles and future-ready Bluetooth.

Short answer. Signia Pure Charge&Go IX is Signia's current RIC on the IX platform, from ₹1,44,990 for a pair at MRP or ₹77,990 for one ear. ReSound Nexia is ReSound's current RIC and the first hearing aid with Bluetooth LE Audio, from ₹1,48,995 for a pair with a desktop charger. If you want the longest battery, five technology levels or a single aid for one ear, choose Signia Pure Charge&Go IX. If you want LE Audio, Auracast or custom in-the-ear styles, choose ReSound Nexia.

Is Signia Pure Charge&Go IX better than ReSound Nexia?

For most buyers, neither is better; they are built for different things. Signia IX leads on battery life and on technology-level choice. ReSound Nexia leads on Bluetooth generation and on form-factor choice. Both aids sound excellent at the matched level — the sound character is different, not better.

The honest decision rule: come in with your phone, wear both in a quiet room and a busy room, and keep the one that feels more natural on your ears. The specs cannot tell you that.

Which aid lasts longer on one charge?

Signia, especially the BCT IX version. Signia's rating is up to 36 hours including 5 hours of streaming. ReSound's rating for the Nexia MicroRIE is up to 30 hours. In day-to-day use both last a full waking day, but if you travel long hours or you sometimes forget to charge overnight, Signia Pure Charge&Go BCT IX gives more headroom.

Which one works with more phones?

For an iPhone or a current Android, both are excellent. ReSound Nexia pairs through Made for iPhone and ASHA on Android, and is the first aid built for Bluetooth LE Audio. Signia Pure Charge&Go IX uses the same iPhone and ASHA Android paths plus LE Audio.

For a basic phone or an older Android, the Signia Pure Charge&Go BCT IX is the pick. It adds Bluetooth Classic to the IX platform, so it talks to almost any phone sold in India, including older Android models that do not have ASHA. Our hearing aid not connecting to phone post has the full pairing picture.

What about Auracast?

Auracast is a Bluetooth broadcast that will let hearing aids tune into a public source — a theatre, an airport, a lecture hall — the way a radio tunes to a station. ReSound Nexia is the first aid built for it; the Signia Pure Charge&Go IX supports it too via LE Audio.

The hardware is on both sides. What is missing in India is the venues. For almost every buyer in Pune, Delhi or Bengaluru today, this is a 2027–28 feature, not a reason to pick a hearing aid in 2026.

Which has better custom and small styles?

ReSound Nexia, clearly. Nexia is sold in MicroRIE, ITC, CIC, IIC and BTE, so you have a style for almost any ear and almost any preference. Signia Pure Charge&Go IX is RIC only; Signia buyers who want an in-the-ear aid should look at Signia Insio C&G IX instead.

How much is the price difference at each level?

Signia 2026 India price list (effective 17 March 2026) and ReSound 2026 India price list. MicroRIE kits include a Premium Charger. Prudent sells both brands at up to 20–30% below MRP.
Comparable levelSignia Pure C&G IX (pair kit)ReSound Nexia (pair with Premium Charger)
Entry₹1,44,990 (1IX)₹1,73,995 (Nexia 4 MicroRIE)
Core₹2,04,990 (2IX)₹2,73,995 (Nexia 5 MicroRIE)
Mid₹3,46,990 (3IX)₹4,83,995 (Nexia 7 MicroRIE)
Advanced₹4,79,990 (5IX)— (Nexia skips a level here)
Premium₹7,69,990 (7IX)₹8,49,995 (Nexia 9 MicroRIE)

At the entry level, Signia is about 17% cheaper for a pair. At the premium level, Nexia 9 with its MicroRIE Premium Charger is about 10% more than a Signia 7IX kit. The real-money gap at Prudent, after our discount, is smaller than these MRPs suggest.

In our clinics this year the split lines up with phones and ears: iPhone users with narrower ear canals who want an in-the-ear aid lean to ReSound Nexia; buyers on a basic Android, or who want one ear now and the second ear later, almost always leave with Signia Pure Charge&Go IX.

How to decide between Signia IX and ReSound Nexia

  • Choose Signia Pure Charge&Go IX if you want the longest battery, five technology levels, a single-ear option, or universal Bluetooth (BCT version).
  • Choose ReSound Nexia if you want LE Audio and Auracast ready for the future, the smallest ReSound RIE case, or a custom in-the-ear style (ITC, CIC, IIC).
  • Consider Signia Pure Charge&Go BCT IX if you want IX's advantages and universal Bluetooth together; our Signia Pure Charge&Go IX vs Phonak Audéo Lumity has that side of the trade-off.

Final verdict

This is a near-tie on sound at the matched level, and the right choice almost always comes from the form factor and the Bluetooth path. Full prices are on our Signia and ReSound price lists, and the rechargeable hearing aids compared post adds Phonak and Unitron to the picture if you also want to look at them.
