Hearing aid price list, India 2026
Most clinics hide the price until you walk in. Here is the real manufacturer MRP for 319 hearing aid models across the brands we fit — and at Prudent you pay up to 30–50% below MRP. Nobody should be paying full price.
Prices by brand
Prices below are the manufacturer's MRP for a single hearing aid (one ear), taken from each brand's current retail price list. Your price at Prudent is lower.
German engineering from WS Audiology, known for Own Voice Processing and the slim Styletto and Pure Charge&Go ranges.
Swiss brand from Sonova, known for universal Bluetooth that pairs with almost any phone, and powerful Naida models for severe loss.
Sonova's value-focused Canadian brand, known for honest pricing and easy upgrade paths.
Danish brand from GN, a pioneer of iPhone streaming, known for natural spatial sound (M&RIE) and tinnitus support.
Oticon, Widex and Interton price lists are being updated to their 2026 editions and will be added here. Ask us for current pricing on those brands in the meantime.
How hearing aid pricing actually works
The number on the price list is not what you pay. Every brand publishes an MRP. At Prudent you get up to 30–50% off that figure, depending on the brand, the model and any running offer. We confirm your exact price at your appointment, once we know which device actually suits your hearing.
Prices are per ear. A single hearing aid fits one ear. Rows marked "Kit" are a pair — two units, usually with a charger. Most people with loss in both ears hear better with two, which our guide on hearing aid prices in India explains.
You are paying for the technology level, not the shell. A 7-level device and a 1-level device in the same family can look identical. The difference is processing channels and how well the aid separates speech from noise. That is why the hearing test comes first — it tells us the level you actually need.
Hearing aids are exempt from GST in India. Accessories such as chargers and streamers are taxed separately.
Pricing questions, answered
How much do hearing aids cost in India?
At manufacturer MRP, a single hearing aid runs from about Rs 20,990 to over Rs 8,00,000 depending on brand and technology level. Almost nobody pays MRP: at Prudent you get up to 30% to 50% off, so a genuine entry-level aid from Signia or Phonak lands far lower than the sticker suggests. Prices are per ear, hearing aids are GST-exempt, and 0% EMI is available. The tables on this page show every model and its real price.
What is the average price of a hearing aid?
There is no single average worth trusting, because the range is enormous — an 8-channel entry BTE and a 48-channel premium rechargeable are both 'a hearing aid'. In practice most people at our clinics land in the mid range: a good mid-level aid after our discount, per ear. What decides it is your audiogram and how noisy your daily life is, not a national average.
How much does one hearing aid cost?
Every price on this page is for one hearing aid — a single unit for one ear. Rows marked Pair (Kit) are two units, usually with a charger. If you have hearing loss in both ears, budget for two: most people hear noticeably better with both, especially in noise.
Where can I get the best deals on hearing aid prices?
Buy from an RCI-registered clinic that publishes its prices and fits the device properly — a cheap aid fitted badly is money wasted. At Prudent you get up to 30% to 50% off manufacturer MRP on every brand we fit, 0% EMI, a free 45-minute hearing test, a trial before you pay, and free lifetime programming. This page lists the actual MRP so you can see exactly what the discount is against.
Which hearing aid brand is the best in India?
No brand is best for everyone. Signia has the widest range and the lowest entry point, plus Own Voice Processing. Phonak leads on universal Bluetooth that pairs with almost any phone and on power for severe loss. ReSound is strong on iPhone streaming and natural spatial sound. Oticon focuses on an open, brain-hearing approach. The right brand follows your hearing test, your phone and your budget.
Which is the cheapest good hearing aid in India?
The cheapest genuine, fitted hearing aids from major brands start around Rs 20,990 to Rs 33,000 per ear at MRP — less after our discount. Be careful below that: the Rs 1,000 to Rs 5,000 'ear machines' sold online and at roadside stalls are sound amplifiers, not hearing aids. They boost everything including noise, are not matched to your audiogram, and can make hearing worse.
How do I buy a hearing aid?
Start with a proper hearing test — never buy without one. The audiogram tells the audiologist which device and technology level suits your loss. Then trial the device in your own life before you pay, confirm the price and warranty, and make sure fitting, programming and aftercare are included. If a shop offers to sell you a device without testing your ears, walk away.
How much does a hearing test cost?
At Prudent the 45-minute digital hearing assessment is free, with no obligation. Paid audiometry at diagnostic centres and hospitals in India typically runs from a few hundred rupees up to about Rs 1,500 depending on the centre and which tests are included.
Is EMI available on hearing aids?
Yes. We offer 0% EMI, so a premium pair becomes a manageable monthly amount instead of one large payment. Combined with up to 30% to 50% off MRP, this is what puts a good device within reach for most families. Ask us to calculate the monthly figure for the model you are considering.
Are Signia hearing aids better than Phonak in India?
Neither is universally better; they lead in different areas. Signia starts lower (from Rs 20,990 versus Rs 33,000) and offers a far wider range including very discreet styles, plus Own Voice Processing. Phonak is known for universal Bluetooth that works with almost any phone and for genuinely powerful models like Naida for severe-to-profound loss. Your audiogram, your phone and your budget decide it — which is what the free hearing test establishes.
