Both 2026 flagships run four neural networks, but with different goals: Signia MaX is built for speech and multi-voice conversation, while Starkey Omega AI+ pairs AI with class-leading battery and health tracking. Here is how to choose.
Signia Pure Charge&Go MaX and Starkey Omega AI+ are two of the newest 2026 flagships, and both moved to a four-neural-network design. But they chase different goals. Signia's four networks are tuned for one thing above all — understanding speech, including several voices at once in a lively group. Starkey pairs its four networks with class-leading battery life and a deep set of health features: activity tracking, fall detection and more.
Short version: choose Signia MaX if conversation in noise is your priority and you want India's most-fitted brand; choose Starkey Omega AI+ if you want the longest battery and health and safety tracking, especially for an older user living independently. As always, a trial on your own ears decides it.
Signia MaX vs Starkey Omega AI+ at a glance
Side-by-side on the makers' own published figures. Independent lab testing is available for the Signia MaX; the newer Omega AI+ has not been independently scored yet, so treat its performance claims as the manufacturer's.

Signia Pure Charge&Go MaX: built for conversation
Signia calls the MaX its first 'multi-dimensional' platform, with four deep neural networks that handle speech, your own voice, the scene around you and noise, sharing information as one system. Its RealTime Conversation Enhancement is designed to track several speakers at once, which is exactly the problem at a family dinner or a meeting.
Signia is also the brand we fit most in India, which matters for service and familiarity. One honest caveat: its Auracast hardware is ready, but full Auracast is switched on by a firmware update Signia expects in early 2027. It builds on the Signia line we already fit — see the current Signia range.
Starkey Omega AI+: AI plus health and battery
The Omega AI+ runs Starkey's newer G4 processor with four networks, but its real signature is everything around the listening. Battery life is class-leading — Starkey rates it well above most rivals — and the health suite is the most complete we fit: activity and step tracking, fall detection with alerts to family, and respiratory-rate monitoring.
That makes it a thoughtful choice for an older person living alone, the same strength as the Starkey Genesis AI in our range. If you will never open the app, though, you are paying for features you will not use.
Who should choose which?
- Choose the Signia MaX if following speech — especially several voices in a lively group — is your main goal, you want India's most-fitted brand, and you do not need health tracking.
- Choose the Starkey Omega AI+ if you want the longest battery and genuine health and safety features (fall alerts, activity, respiratory), particularly for an older user living independently.
- If noise in big rooms is the single hardest thing, also trial a dedicated-noise-chip aid like the Phonak Audéo Sphere Infinio before you decide.
Availability and price in India
Both are 2026 global launches rolling out to India over the following months; the Omega AI+ is the more recent (October 2026). India availability and MRP change, so we confirm the current model and price at your appointment or on WhatsApp rather than quote a figure that may be stale. Hearing aids are GST-exempt in India, with up to 20-30% off MRP and 0% EMI at Prudent. See the full picture in our newest hearing aids of 2026 guide.
The honest way to decide
Four neural networks in each is impressive, but the badge matters less than the fit. At Prudent we fit both Signia and Starkey, so our RCI-registered audiologists can match the right one to your audiogram, your lifestyle and whether health tracking actually matters to you — and let you trial it first. Frequently asked questions
Signia Pure Charge&Go MaX or Starkey Omega AI+ — which is better?
Both run four neural networks, but with different goals. The Signia MaX is tuned for speech and multi-voice conversation and is India's most-fitted brand; the Starkey Omega AI+ has class-leading battery and the fullest health suite (activity, fall detection, respiratory). Choose Signia for conversation, Starkey for battery and health tracking. Trial decides it.
What is the difference between the Signia MaX and Starkey Omega AI+?
The Signia MaX focuses its four DNNs on understanding speech, with RealTime Conversation Enhancement that tracks several voices at once — built for groups. The Starkey Omega AI+ pairs its four networks with the longest battery life of the 2026 flagships and health and safety features like fall detection and respiratory-rate monitoring. One is a conversation specialist; the other is an all-day AI-plus-health device.
Which has better battery and health features?
The Starkey Omega AI+ leads on both. Starkey rates its battery well above most rivals, and no other brand we fit matches its health suite — activity tracking, fall alerts and respiratory-rate monitoring. The Signia MaX has strong battery (maker-rated up to ~30 hours) but no health tracking; its strength is conversation.
Are the Signia MaX and Starkey Omega AI+ available in India?
Both are 2026 global launches rolling out to India over the following months; the Omega AI+ is the more recent (October 2026). Availability and India MRP change, so we confirm the current model and price at your appointment or on WhatsApp. Hearing aids are GST-exempt in India, with up to 20-30% off MRP and 0% EMI at Prudent.
Which is better for group conversation?
The Signia MaX, on paper — its RealTime Conversation Enhancement is specifically designed to follow several speakers at once, which is the classic family-dinner or meeting problem. That said, listening is personal, so trial both in a real group setting before deciding.
Does the Signia MaX support Auracast now?
Its hardware is Auracast-ready, but Signia enables full Auracast through a firmware update expected in early 2027, so it is not fully active at launch. The Starkey Omega AI+ supports Auracast too. In India this matters little for now, as very few venues are Auracast-ready yet.
