A CROS system needs a transmitter on the unhearing ear and a compatible hearing aid on the better ear. In our 2026 price lists, CROS transmitters cost ₹29,490 to ₹39,990 for Signia, ₹55,000 to ₹58,000 for Phonak and ₹54,995 for ReSound (MRP per unit), plus the hearing aid.
The short answer
A CROS system routes sound from an ear that cannot use a hearing aid to the better ear. It has two parts: a transmitter worn on the poorer ear and a compatible hearing aid or receiver on the better ear, usually from the same brand and generation. In our 2026 price lists, CROS transmitters list at ₹29,490 to ₹39,990 for Signia, ₹55,000 to ₹58,000 for Phonak and ₹54,995 for ReSound, per unit at MRP. The better-ear aid is extra.
How to read these prices: MRP is the manufacturer's printed price from the 2026 price lists we hold (Signia 17 March 2026; Phonak and Unitron 1 June 2026; ReSound 2026). Prudent typically sells 30% to 50% below MRP depending on the model, so the likely price shown is for one ear unless marked per pair. CROS or BiCROS: which do you need?
- CROS: the better ear hears normally or nearly so. It only needs a receiver to pick up the transmitted sound.
- BiCROS: the better ear also has hearing loss, so it gets a full hearing aid that receives the transmitted sound as well.

For example, a Signia Pure Charge&Go 1IX aid (₹77,990) plus its transmitter (₹35,990) comes to ₹1,13,980 at MRP, and a ReSound Nexia 461 aid (₹83,995) plus the Nexia CROS transmitter comes to ₹1,38,990 at MRP, before Prudent's discount.
