Behind-the-ear (BTE)
The classic shape that sits behind your ear with a slim tube into the canal. It is sturdier and easier to handle than tiny in-canal aids, which is why it suits older users and those who want fewer fiddly parts.
Single-model detail, fitted by RCI-registered audiologists
The Signia Motion 13 Nx is a robust behind-the-ear (BTE) hearing aid that runs on a standard size-13 disposable battery and sits on Signia's Nx platform, best known for Own Voice Processing. It suits people with moderate to severe or profound hearing loss who want dependable power, easy handling and long battery life, and who prefer changing a battery over nightly charging. It is fitted, verified and tuned to your own hearing test by our RCI-registered audiologists.
The essentials at a glance. Everything below is accurate to the Signia Motion 13 Nx and the Nx platform it runs on. The exact technology level and power we fit is decided from your audiogram.
The classic shape that sits behind your ear with a slim tube into the canal. It is sturdier and easier to handle than tiny in-canal aids, which is why it suits older users and those who want fewer fiddly parts.
Motion is Signia's power line. A behind-the-ear housing delivers more clean amplification than a small in-canal shell, so the Motion 13 Nx handles moderate to severe, and up towards profound, hearing loss with headroom to spare.
The '13' in the name is the battery size. It runs on a widely available size-13 zinc-air cell, not a rechargeable cell. That means no charger to carry and no charging routine — you simply swap in a fresh battery when it runs low, typically after several days.
The Nx platform's headline innovation. Your own voice is processed separately from every other sound, so it stops sounding boomy or 'in a barrel' — the single complaint that makes many first-time wearers give up on hearing aids.
The Nx generation is controlled from the Signia app and streams phone calls, music and TV audio through Signia StreamLine accessories (StreamLine Mic and StreamLine TV). It is not the direct, universal Bluetooth of the very newest platforms — we confirm exactly what will work with your phone at the fitting.
A larger BTE body means a more reachable control rocker, a simpler battery door and a device that is easy to find, insert and clean — genuinely helpful if dexterity or eyesight is a concern.
An honest fit guide. The right aid depends on your hearing test and your daily life, not the badge — and a hearing aid manages hearing loss, it does not cure it.
The Motion's power BTE format is built for stronger losses that a small in-canal aid cannot drive cleanly. If your test shows moderate-to-severe or worse, this is exactly the kind of device we consider.
If a nightly charging habit does not suit you — you travel, you forget, or you simply like the certainty of a spare cell in your pocket — a size-13 battery aid is reassuring and never leaves you stranded by a flat charge.
For many older wearers, a larger BTE with a clear control and an easy battery door is far easier to live with than a near-invisible in-canal shell. Comfort and confident handling matter more than being hidden.
The Motion 13 Nx is battery-powered and on Signia's earlier Nx platform. If you want a sealed rechargeable BTE or the latest speech-in-noise processing, the current Motion Charge&Go X and IX, or a rechargeable RIC like Pure Charge&Go, are the better route. We will show you both.
A BTE sits visibly behind the ear. If being unnoticed matters most and your loss allows it, a near-invisible option such as Silk or a custom Insio may suit you better — we will weigh that against the power you need.
The Nx generation streams through accessories rather than pairing directly with any phone for hands-free calls. If direct, device-agnostic connectivity is essential, a newer platform, or a brand like Phonak, may serve you better.
Honest pricing, no invented figures. The Motion 13 Nx is on Signia's earlier Nx platform and is not on our current published price list, so we quote the band for the closest current family — the Motion Charge&Go behind-the-ear line — and confirm your exact figure at the clinic.
The current Motion Charge&Go BTE line (Signia's rechargeable successor to the Nx-generation Motion) carries a single-aid MRP from about ₹60,000 at the entry level up to around ₹3.65 lakh at the flagship level, depending on the technology tier. As an earlier Nx-generation battery model, the Motion 13 Nx typically sits at or below the entry of that band where units are still available.
You do not pay MRP with us. Depending on the model and any running offer, Prudent sells up to 30-50% below the manufacturer's MRP. We confirm the exact figure for the device recommended for you at your appointment — we never quote a single fixed price from a page.
Hearing aids are GST-exempt in India, so there is no tax added on top. We also offer 0% EMI so you can spread the cost comfortably rather than paying it all at once.
The device is only half the result — the fitting is the other half. Here is how we make sure the Motion 13 Nx actually works for you.
An RCI-registered audiologist measures your hearing across the full range and maps exactly where you struggle. No cost, no obligation — this audiogram is what decides whether the Motion 13 Nx, or a different aid, is right for you.
We program the Motion 13 Nx to your specific loss and fine-tune it against real-ear measurement, so it delivers the amplification your test calls for — not a generic factory setting. We set up Own Voice Processing so your own voice sounds natural from day one.
You wear the aid in your own life — home, market, family gatherings — before you commit. Hearing the real difference for yourself matters far more than any spec sheet, and there is no pressure to buy.
Your hearing changes over time. We re-tune, clean and service your aids for the life of the device across our Pune, Delhi and Bengaluru clinics, with home visits around those cities.

Read the reviewNo. The Motion 13 Nx runs on a standard size-13 disposable battery — that is what the '13' in the name means. There is no charger and no nightly charging routine; you simply swap in a fresh cell when it runs low, usually after several days. If you would rather have a rechargeable behind-the-ear aid, the current Signia Motion Charge&Go range is the successor to look at, and we can show you both at your visit.
It is a power behind-the-ear aid, built for moderate to severe, and up towards profound, hearing loss. A BTE housing drives more clean amplification than a tiny in-canal aid, which is why the Motion line exists. Whether it is the right power level for you is confirmed by our audiologist from your free hearing test — a hearing aid manages hearing loss, it does not cure it.
The Motion 13 Nx sits on Signia's earlier Nx platform, whose signature feature, Own Voice Processing, is still genuinely useful today. The current behind-the-ear line is the rechargeable Motion Charge&Go X and IX, which add newer speech-in-noise processing and charging. Newer is not automatically better for you — a well-fitted Nx aid can be excellent value, while a higher listening demand may justify a current platform. We will let you compare them honestly and fit whichever suits your ears and budget.
The Nx generation is controlled from the Signia app and streams phone calls, music and TV audio through Signia StreamLine accessories, such as StreamLine Mic and StreamLine TV, rather than pairing directly with any phone for hands-free calls. If direct, universal Bluetooth is essential to you, a newer platform will serve you better. We confirm exactly what works with your specific phone at the fitting.
