Are ReSound hearing aids good? Short answer: yes. ReSound is a strong, well-established Danish brand from the GN group, and a genuine pioneer of direct iPhone streaming and of M&RIE — a microphone placed inside your own ear canal for a more natural sound. It is an excellent choice if you value natural tone, a clear sense of where sound is coming from, and future-ready connectivity, and it is especially comfortable for Apple users. But no brand is best for everyone: the right ReSound model, and whether ReSound is even the right brand for you, is decided by your hearing test and your daily life, not by the badge. Remember too that a hearing aid manages hearing loss; it does not cure it.

ReSound was an early pioneer of direct Made-for-iPhone audio. If you use an iPhone, calls, music and videos stream straight to the aids, cleanly and hands-free. This is one of the smoothest Apple experiences among the brands we fit.
The 2024 Nexia range and the newer Vivia platform are among the first aids built for LE Audio and Auracast — the emerging standard that lets you tune into shared sound in airports, theatres and public venues as it rolls out.

You adjust volume, switch programs and fine-tune sound from your phone, and you can even request remote fine-tuning from your audiologist between visits — genuinely handy if travelling to the clinic is difficult.

ReSound concentrates on sound and connectivity, not wellness sensors. If fall detection, step counting or activity tracking built into the aid matters to you, a brand like Starkey leans that way. We fit both, so we can compare them side by side.
ReSound's hands-free, direct streaming is smoothest on iPhone. Compatible Android phones stream directly too, but if your handset is older or not on the supported list, you may not get the full hands-free experience. Bring your phone to the fitting.
Auracast readiness on Nexia and Vivia is genuinely forward-looking, but the public venues that broadcast it are still arriving in India. It is a reason to buy for the future, not always a benefit you will use on day one.
The top Nexia and Vivia models sit at the higher end of the market. They are worth it for the right user, but if your budget is tight, a mid-tier ReSound or the value Key range will often serve you well for everyday life.
The in-canal microphone is a highlight, but it is not right for every ear shape or every degree of hearing loss. Your audiologist decides at the fitting whether M&RIE will actually help you — it is not a box everyone should tick.

The value Key range starts at around ₹21,000 MRP per aid, the sensible entry point for first-time users.
