The premium RIC families use a sealed lithium-ion cell you cannot change yourself; after a few years, replacing it is a service job. If you specifically want user-replaceable batteries, look lower in the Phonak range or at another brand.

Sphere Infinio adds a dedicated AI chip that works hard to separate speech from background sound, which genuinely helps if you spend a lot of time in restaurants, gatherings or open offices. If your life is mostly quieter, one-to-one conversation and TV, the proven Lumity platform delivers most of the benefit for a good deal less.
